Applying for a Zoning Certificate:
A Zoning Permit is required whenever a structure, is erected,
moved, added to, or structurally altered. A Zoning Permit is also required
when a building, structure or land use is changed. Zoning permits are issued
in conformity with the provisions of the Zoning Resolution.
In some circumstances, a Conditional Use or a Variance approval
must be obtained from the Board of Zoning Appeals before the Zoning Inspector
can issue the Zoning Certificate.

You will need:
- Site/ Plot plan drawn to scale for the exact dimensions
of the building. Plot maps can be obtained from the County Tax Map Office
located in the basement of the Courthouse.

- The Application for Zoning Certificate must be turned
in to the Zoning Inspector along with the fees scheduled by the Township
Trustees. The Zoning Inspector will either approve or disapprove the
application within 30 (thirty) days of receipt of the application.
