Applying for a Variance:

A variance is a relaxation of requirements where such variances will not be contrary to the public interest and where owing to conditions peculiar to the property and not the result of actions of the applicant, a literal enforcement of this Resolution would result in unnecessary and undue hardship.

Please contact the Zoning Inspector to obtain or complete forms,
pay fees, or with any questions you may have.

You will need:

    1. Site/ plot plan drawn to scale for any buildings to be used. Plot maps can be obtained from the County Tax Map Office located in the basement of the courthouse.
    2. An application form for a Variance. This application may be obtained from the Zoning Inspector or viewed on-line.
    3. The Variance Application must be turned in to the Zoning Inspector along with the fees scheduled by the Township Trustees. The Board of Zoning Appeals will notify you when the date has been set for the hearing.
