Applying for a Residential Enterprise:
A Residential Enterprise is an occupation owned and conducted by the resident
on the same parcel as the enterprise owner's principle residence.
Residential Enterprise shall be limited to low intensity activities that
generate a limited amount of additional vehicular traffic and shall not create
a nuisance to neighboring property owners, nor alter the appearance of the
neighborhood. Residential Enterprise shall require a Conditional Use Permit.
Please refer to Milton Township Resolution Section 528 for complete requirements.
You will need:
- Site/ Plot plan drawn to scale for the exact dimensions
of the building to be used for the Enterprise. Plot maps can be obtained
from the County
Tax Map Office located in the basement of the Courthouse.
- An application
for a Conditional Use. This form can be obtained from the Zoning
Inspector or viewed
on-line.

- Supplemental Residential
Enterprise Information Application. This attachment to the Conditional
Use Application is also required and can be obtained from
the Zoning Inspector
or viewed on-line.

- The Conditional
Use Application for a Residential Enterprise must be turned in to the
Zoning Inspector along with the fees scheduled
by the
Township Trustees. The Board of Zoning Appeals will notify you
when
the date has been set for the hearing.
