Golf Outing
 
The annual Butler County Township Association Elected Officials Golf Outing supports the Butler County 4-H Program. This year's event will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 (11:30 AM Shotgun Start) at the Weatherwax Golf Course in Middletown, Ohio. Dinner will be at the Terry Farm on SR 747 in Liberty Township. The money raised by the 2007 outing provided five $1,000 scholarships to 4-H youth and sent six 4-H youth to Washington, D.C. to attend the 4-H Citizenship Washington Focus program. As of 2007, 55 students have received scholarships and 90 students have travelled to Washington, D.C. The scholarships from the 2008 outing were awarded in 2009.
