Local Government Records Program

The Center is able to assist local governments in establishing a records management and archival program. This process involves building a comprehensive inventory and storage system, completing the necessary forms (RC-1, RC-2, RC-3) for approval by your Records Commission, and finally the destruction of obsolete or outdated records. 

Examples of Projects

Turtle Creek Township (Warren County) - assisted the township with the physical inventory of all township files and records, development of a Schedule of Records Retention and Disposition (RC-2), and a Certificate of Records Disposal (RC-3).

Miami Township (Clermont County) - assisted the township with the physical inventory of all township files and records and the development of a Schedule of Records Retention and Disposition (RC-2).

Fairfield Township (Butler County) - assisted the township with the physical inventory of all township files and records and the development of a Schedule of Records Retention and Disposition (RC-2).

Concord Township (Miami County) - assisted the township with the creation of a Schedule of Records Retention and Disposition (RC-2).
