City of Fairfield - State Route 4 Corridor Market Study

The Center for Public Management and Regional Affairs provides assistance to local communities seeking to better understand and improve their economic development options. For the purposes of this study, the CPMRA utilized a market study model that was modified to meet the specific needs of the community.

The City of Fairfield and the CPMRA have worked together in recent months to accurately capture the current business climate on State Route 4 (also known as Dixie Highway) and analyze the area's assets and challenges. This research, combined with other city initiatives, has increased public awareness of the efforts to improve this business corridor and facilitated numerous discussions on improving the future prospects of Route 4.
