Catawba Elderly United
Senior Citizens who are looking for fun and interesting things to do
should consider coming to the Catawba Senior Center of Elderly United. They are open
Monday through Thursday from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. While visiting the Center, you could
participate in basket weaving, knitting and crocheting, cards, bingo, and much more. On
the first Wednesday of the month at 12 Noon, there is a potluck, and on the first and
third Thursdays of the month, Euchre is played at 7 p.m. If you have an idea for a new
activity, stop by the Center and share it with Director Evelyn Reaver or call the Center
at 828-1764.
