| 2010 Compensation Charts |
| The General Assembly once again did not pass a cost of living increase for township officials for 2010. Please refer to the following compensation charts (same as 2008 and 2009) for budgeting purposes. |
| 2010 Scholarship Application Available |
Each year, the OTA offers scholarships to high school seniors. Three scholarships in the amount of $1,500 each will be awarded in 2010. The application is now available. |
| Census Congressional Toolkit |
| The U.S. Census Bureau designed a Congressional Toolkit to help elected officials educate constituents about the benefits of census participation, and to aid in promotion of the census in a vareity of settings. You will find that the toolkit contains a number of helpful suggestions and information, including a Constituent FAQ and Census Jobs FAQ. The documents mentioned within the Toolkit can be downloaded by visiting this site. |
| BWC Offers Numerous Safety Programs and Classes |
The Ohio Bureau of Workers' Compensation Group Rating program offers more than 60 occupational safety, health and ergonomics courses throughout the state and online. These courses are offered at no extra cost to Ohio employers with active workers' compensation policies. The October - December flyer is now available. Check out the class options and how to apply. Additionally, BWC's Division of Safety & Hygiene sponsors more than 80 safety councils across the state, organized through chambers of commerce, and trade and manufacturing associations. These safety councils provide their communities with quality programs addressing occupational safety and health, workers' compensation and risk management education and information.
