| CareWorks Open Enrollment Period Ending May 25 |
| The MCO (managed care organization) open enrollment period occurs once every two years. CareWorks is the OTA's endorsed MCO, while Frank Gates is the OTA's TPA (third party administrator) endorsed program. Click here for a chart detailing your responsibilities as a township or employer and the duties of an MCO and TPA as they relate to the Bureau of Workers' Compensation. | Public Notice Website Goes Live |
| Ohio's Public Notice Website was created by the Ohio Department of Administrative Services' Office of Infomation Technology as a result of the most recent state budget bill. ORC 7.16 allows townships, after initially publishing a notice in full in a general circulation newspaper, to subsequently publish an "abbreviated" version on the state public notice website. This is free of charge to local government entities, but you must first register with the Ohio Business Gateway. Click here to view the public notice website. |
